Two thousand twenty two was a pretty good year for the Bucharest office market in terms of demand, given the generally difficult economic climate, with demand being comparable to the good times before the Covid-19, while in the second half of the year, it was rather comparable to 2021, according to the annual report released by real estate consulting firm Colliers.
CONSTRUCTION
-Bucharest-listed One United Properties, the leading green investor and developer of residential, mixed-use, and office real estate in Romania, has obtained the construction license for One Lake District, a large-scale 2,076-apartment sustainable housing development located on the banks of Bucharest’s Plumbuita lake.
-Austria’s PORR Construct, one of the leading construction companies in Europe, has budgeted investments of more than EUR10 million in the Romanian market for 2023.
-Construction material manufacturer Soceram (Campina) plans to build a new plant in Doicesti, Dambovita County, where it already has a production facility, in order to relocate the operation, Ziarul Financiar reported.
