-Just five office buildings with a total area of 94,000 square meters will be delivered in 2023 based on authorizations obtained until 2020, Ziarul Financiar (ZF) reported. The market will near 3.5 million square meters in Bucharest in late 2023.

-American banking giant Citi Romania has relocated its 200 employees in Bucharest to its new headquarters in the capital, located in the Tiriac Towers class A office building in the heart of the capital. Tiriac Imobiliare, part of Tiriac Group, is a group of 29 companies, present on the local market since 1994, as a developer and investor in real estate.

French-headquartered home improvement and gardening retailer Leroy Merlin, a top three player on the Romanian DIY market by revenue, posted RON3.4 billion sales in 2022, which translates into an increase of more than 30% compared with the previous year, the company’s CEO Frédéric Lamy told ZF.
