CONSTRUCTION

The volume of construction works in Romania increased up by 12.7% in the first quarter of 2023 y-o-y, data from the National Institute of Statistics showed.

Bucharest-listed OMV Petrom, the largest integrated energy Company in Southern and Eastern Europe, has signed a funding contract via the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) to build a hydrogen production facility by water electrolysis at the Petrobrazi refinery, in Ploiesti, Prahova County.

Redport Capital and Mobexpert Group announced the completion of the concept design for the Infinity Nord project, a residential destination located in the Straulesti area, in the north of the Romanian capital. This will be one of the largest urban regeneration projects in Bucharest, as the total investment is being estimated at EUR 150 million.

Speedwell, one of the most dynamic real estate developers in Romania founded by Belgian entrepreneurs, has got the construction authorization for the third building part of The Ivy project, in the heart of the Bucharest’s Baneasa area.
