CONSTRUCTION
-Romanian business managers predict soaring prices in retail and construction, but also in industry and services during March-May 2023, a survey by the National Institute of Statistics reveals. They also expect moderate activity growth in the processing industry and services.
-Baupartner Construct, part of Baupartner group controlled by Michael Dietrich, is set to build the biggest mall to be opened in Romania in 2023. Located in southwestern city of Craiova, Promenada Mall Craiova, has a built area of 75,000 square meters and 2,100 parking spaces. Construction began in 2022.
RETAIL
Danish furniture manufacturer and retailer JYSK continues its expansion in Romania and opens a new store in Campulung Muscel on March 30, bringing its network to 131 stores in the country.
