CONSTRUCTION

-Romania represents the second market as value for collaborations at European level after France, with contracts of over two billion euro signed with constructions companies from Italy, according to the representatives of the Italian Association of Constructions Companies (ANCE).

-Bucharest’s Municipal Administration for the Consolidation of Buildings with Seismic Risk conveys that it has submitted through the PNRR projects worth 90 million euros, but also that it has started the procedures for the resumption of works on the blocked construction sites, as a result of the entry into bankruptcy proceedings of the Municipal Consolidation Company.

French luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton is preparing to go to the ground floor of the Athénée Palace Hilton Hotel on Calea Victoriei in Bucharest, replacing Italian rival Gucci.

The Romanian Black Sea coast tourism decreased this year by approximately 20%, according to the first vice-president of the National Association of Travel Agencies (ANAT), Alin Burcea.

ENERGY

Monsson group, the biggest green energy project developer in Romania, has signed an agreement with British-held Rezolv Energy for the development of a 1,044 MW solar park, in Arad, in western Romania. It would currently be the largest solar power plant in Europe. The developers have the ambition to get the 1.04 GW facility online in 2025.
